Daphne began her dance journey close to 2 decades ago, training in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, and various partner dances. She holds certifications from the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) in Modern Jazz and Contemporary, having earned her Teacher's Diploma in CSTD Modern Jazz in 2019. Her extensive teaching experience includes:
School-based Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) and enrichment programs.
Jazz classes of all levels for adults under her company Jazz.Artistry.Movement
Contemporary classes
Graded syllabi in both ATOD & CSTD for Jazz.
Daphne has also successfully prepared students for both local and international dance competitions, including Get the Beat World Finals, ATOD International Bangkok, CSTD Born to Perform, and Evolution Dance Competition.
With Visions Dance Studio, Daphne firmly believes in a strong balance between technical proficiency and freedom of expression through dance. She is dedicated to supporting and nurturing the next generation of dancers in a healthy environment, aspiring for them to become well-rounded artists.

PBT Progressing Ballet Technique Certified Instructor
Ms June graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2010 with a BA (Hons) in Dance, where she was under the tutelage of Cheng Hsienfa (Founder of Cheng Ballet Academy), and Jaime Redfern (Head of Contemporary Dance at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts). She also had the opportunity to work with international choreographers like Loretta Livingston (Professor at University of California, Irvine- Department of Dance) during her years at LASALLE.
Upon graduation, she joined Hong Kong Disneyland as a performer, fulfilling her ultimate childhood dream. Her five magical years at Hong Kong Disneyland have since shaped her approach towards dance education- blending quality technique and discipline with fun. She also believes in cultivating performance quality and dance artistry in her students, which she thinks is somewhat lacking in the dance education in Singapore.
Moving back to Singapore in 2015, Ms June has been teaching a wide variety of dance and performing arts programmes at various institutions, including international schools like AIS, preschools like MindChamps, and being involved in DSA auditions at local schools, also choreographing for dance concerts and competitions.
Ms June has always been passionate about dance, sharing dance, and interacting with children. She believes in the magical powers that dance has on children, and hopes to be able to help more children experience it.
Having spent the pandemic year teaching at a private girls’ school in Tokyo and dancing on the side, Ms June is very excited to be back teaching dance in Singapore. She is constantly looking to improve on her craft, in the hope of providing better quality dance education to her students.
